I’m not going to pretend that keeping up with any exercise program these days has been particularly easy. And the kicker is that exercise is the one thing we could all probably benefit from more of. Not only is exercise important to our cardiovascular health, which in turn can improve our chances against Covid-19, it’s also beneficial to our mental health.

In the spirit of being kind to ourselves, I try not to put too much pressure on rigorous exercise programs and instead turn to yoga. For me, yoga has been a practice I return to time and again not only for my physical health but my mental health as well. Just the practice of breathing and stretching has helped to quiet my anxiety, which has been cranked to ungodly levels as of late. Until we can return to classes IRL, I’ve been trying classes through Glo.com, an online yoga membership with over 4,000 classes to choose from. And with a free 15 day trial, you have plenty of time to decide whether it's the right fit for you.

Just as we've had to rethink how we exercise, I’ve begun to rethink my yoga wardrobe. What has changed most for me is my post workout style. I love that post-yoga feeling, and I want to extend it as long as possible. Part of how I treat myself after a class is to dress in cozy styles that look cute and feel amazing. While leggings may always be my go-to, I might layer that up with a cute thin sweater for shavasana. And post-workout, I may keep the leggings and upgrade it with a cozy sweater poncho and boots for running errands. It’s all about how we layer and elevate our post-workout wardrobe to keep the good vibes going.

Here’s a few of our favorite post-yoga looks, for a true glo up!

These thin sweater styles are both cozy and cute, with flirty details like a neckline that can be pulled off the shoulder or an open back with a twisted knot detail. Throw it on after class and hit up that zoom meeting looking glowy and fresh.

For days when I feel like a gentle workout, I might take a Hatha Yoga class. I like to add a light layer at the beginning of class that I'll remove mid-way, and then pop it on again once class is over. This ultra-soft bamboo knit top features an oversize cowl neckline and long sleeves with sporty thumbholes.

Sweater ponchos have become my new obsession this Fall (and for good reason). They're incredibly cozy and roomy, and layer well. I style mine over my workout leggings with boots and cozy socks.

Speaking of leggings, have you tried the legging/pant hybrid? Combining the best of both worlds, our knit pants feature side pockets and a ruched ankle detail. I'll never get rid of my workout leggings but I am so glad I added a pair of these to my rotation. They're comfortable, warm, and so so very soft. Paired with an oversize sweater, these leggings are what Fall dreams are made of.
